Ordering Process

Shipping & Delivery

We use several different delivery couriers including DPD, DHL, ROYAL MAIL, Parcel Force and An Post. Depending on delivery method we may be able to provide tracking for a more accurate delivery time.

Saturday delivery as a special request and will be quoted for at the time. We do not deliver on Sunday or bank holidays.

Please contact us if you have any concerns regarding an order placed with ourselves and a special delivery.

Once your order has been dispatched, we will provide your tracking information via email or WhatsApp.

Our standard delivery service typically takes 2–3 working days from the date of dispatch. While we aim for prompt delivery, please understand that once a package enters the courier network, external factors such as extreme weather or logistics delays are beyond our control.

While it is not common practice for couriers to exceed these timeframes, we appreciate your patience should a delay occur.

Remote Areas & Offshore Deliveries

Please note that deliveries to remote locations (such as the Highlands, Islands) may naturally take an additional 1–2 working days to arrive due to the courier's routing.

Missing an Update?

If your tracking information has not been updated for more than 5 working days, please contact our team by clicking the button below. We will investigate the delay with the courier on your behalf.

Privacy & Security

Car seat covers direct holds records of online purchases in a secure database. The details stored are full name, address, contact telephone number, email address and details of products purchased. We do not retain any of your bank account details. If you are purchasing through paypal, any account information you give is recieved directly by paypal, who then forward contact and postage details to us. Returns & Replacements

If any product purchased from Car Seat Covers Direct arrives with a manufacturing defect—such as faulty stitching or damaged material—please contact us immediately.

While we strive for perfection, small details can occasionally be missed during inspection. Furthermore, due to the high volume of parcels in the courier network, packages can occasionally be damaged in transit. Regardless of the cause, we stand by our products. If your item isn't right, you are entitled to a replacement, as we aim to deliver high quality every time.

How to Start a Return:
. Step 1: Contact us immediately using the button below.
. Step 2: Please attach a few photos of the issue to your message. This helps our team verify the fault quickly and improve our quality control.
. Step 3: Once verified by our quality control team, we will arrange the next steps.

Collection & Fees:
. If the fault is ours: We will arrange a complimentary collection at no cost to you.
. If the return is due to customer error: We can still arrange a collection for a nominal service fee.

Custom & Personalised Orders

Please note that for custom-made or one-off special products—including those with a personalised logo or custom design—we reserve the right to decline returns or exchanges for any reason other than a manufacturing defect.

If your custom product arrives with a manufacturing fault, please refer to our Damaged or Faulty Items policy above for a replacement.

Ordering

The information you provide to us is key when placing an order with us. We aim to send the customer the exact fit for their car. That includes all the head rests and any arm rest that may be in the car. The order will arrive complete as a “kit”.

When you order from Car seat covers direct we may have to contact you by phone or email. The reason for that is because there are variations within a particular model, for example the VW Golf has a (S) (SE) (GT) (GTi) in that range, the standard or entry level model is often called the (S). Some cars come with higher spec seats in a standard car; they are called special order from the car manufacturer. Often if a car is purchased second hand a customer may not know that detail, we will by seeing the seats.

There are details we need to check when a customer places an order with us.

  1.  Type of Seats
  2.  Model of car (S) (SE) (GT) (GTi)
  3.  Is the car 3 or 5 door, Estate.
  4.  Fabric Colour
  5.  Request seat photos to confirm seat layout 

We often ask customers for photos of their car seats. Sending us photos makes ordering easier for our customers and the company. If you’re unable to send photos we have people who can ask you questions to help you with your order process

Payment

We accept most major credit and debit cards as well as accepting bank transfers and PayPal.

The full details of payment acceptance can see them listed on the bottom of our site. All cheques should be cleared through a bank before we can release the product.

Customer can also phone in and pay over the phone we have card facilities. From outside the UK please arrange the correct currency that is British Sterling or GBP otherwise our web site will not accept your payment respectfully.

Viewing Orders

Using the design your own feature on our site. 

When an order is being placed using this feature you will see the image on your screen change as will the price in the top right hand corner. You can add and remove details to suit your budget.

The car seat covers will look as close to the original colour as possible. For better colour and design content of a particular material selected in the design your own feature  please go to our Materials section, you can see a better image of the material used in this feature.

You may also see a particular style and colour in one of our advertisements and choose that. You can also mail or phone us direct.

All other products can be viewed online prior to purchase.

Updating Account Information

Should you become a regular user of our site we will offer you and account information? That is a record of your purchases and we shall inform you by email of any promotions.

    Phillip showed me a vehicle they had just finished and it looked very impressive, I picked my designs and the covers were ready in a fortnight. I asked to have the Seat Covers fitted, I knew I could fit them, but people who do this professionally know the little hacks that others don't and ultimately it would be a better job. seats turned out so well and I'm very happy with them.
